Loot Goblins Version 0.1.7
Welcome to Loot Goblins version 0.1.7!
This update brings together several improvements as we continue to enhance the game. With each update, the game becomes more streamlined and enjoyable. We're excited as we approach the early access release and want to express our gratitude to everyone who has been part of this journey over the past few challenging months.
Now, let's dive into what's new in update 0.1.7:
- While there may not be major visual changes, this update focuses on enhancing the overall gameplay experience.
- One significant improvement is the reduction of steps required to equip weapons. In the previous update, we laid the groundwork for this enhancement.
- Weapons and ammo now automatically equip to their respective slots as you collect them, and their icons display key binds for easy access.
- For controller users, the D-Pad UP allows you to cycle through weapons seamlessly.
- We've introduced a new death mechanic where a Goblin Loot chest spawns upon a Goblin's demise. These chests contain significantly more loot than regular ones, encouraging players to hunt down Other Goblins for special rewards.
Additionally, upon death, loot scores and loot go into the void, adding further significance to the Goblin Chests dropped upon demise.
Once again, a heartfelt thank you to everyone for your support. We couldn't do this without our amazing community of Loot Goblins!
