Happy anniversary!
Super Infection Massive Pathology turned one year old on Steam, and even though we didn't quite make it to celebrate on the exact date, we brought gifts!
Infinite Mode
We know rounds were feeling short, so we created a new infinite mode as a new difficulty choice.
In infinite mode, enemies will keep leveling up and the game will progressively increase in difficulty. Every 10 waves, a character will appear to be rescued, with no repeats.
Additionally, the duration of the other difficulties was increased from 7 rounds to 10.
Joystick Support
That's right! Super Infection Massive Pathology is now fully compatible with most joysticks. We'll soon be trying to get the Steam Deck badge.
Most icons have been updated to represent the actions, and we're working on migrating the rest.
Using an Xbox controller as reference:
Y = Return to base
A = Perform actions / activate abilities
Left stick: Move
Right stick: Aim
Performance Improvements
We worked on and completely rewrote the game's graphical interface, so it should run much more smoothly than before with fewer FPS drops. We also added the option to change settings related to the game's graphics quality in the options menu.
Other Improvements
Videos can now be paused
"Throwenis" will no longer damage the player when exploding nearby
Fixed a bug that caused the tapeworm not to appear at the end
Fixed minor details
