He is Coming has been continuing its development over the Summer with two new patches since the last roundup. Between the two patches, there have been new items added, a large rework on cauldron items, and a whole new game mode. Let's get into it in the roundup below.

Patch #14 added some new items and reworked a lot of cauldron items the team felt were lackluster. The hardboiled egg and its combinations have been removed as part of these changes, but seven new items, two new weapons, and one new weapon set were added. There were also many item changes included in this patch, such as Deepsea Wine now giving two riptides or the Petrified Chestnut giving ten thorns and armor instead of six.
Patch #15 added an entirely new game mode to He is Coming the Gauntlet. This new mode is currently unlocked by defeating the Swampland Hydra but in the future will be fully integreated into the main story. This new mode introduces six new bosses, each with several possible item loadouots that change run to run. In the Gauntlet, you will also encounter new events that are exclusive to the mode.
Patch #15 also added the Weapon Mastery system. Now you can track your progress with different weapons. The three masteries on display are awarded for completing very hard difficulty, becoming a champion in Kingmaker, and completing the Gauntlet with the weapon.
