Hello Pinball Friends!
I am currently working on the 4th pinball machine and want to show you with a picture of it how things are going.
A big part of the work is done. All objects are built, arranged and ready for the textures. Everything is again modeled in very high resolution (approx. 815,000 surfaces).
Mechanically everything works perfectly.
The coloring and the plastics are of course not final. But they show well what will light up and what will not.
As you can see, the new one is a “wide-body” from the 80s. So it is not very steep and therefore not very fast. However, the bumpers and slingshots can still accelerate the ball considerably.
The playing behavior is quite friendly. A bad shot on the ramp does not usually result in the ball going into the drain. The lanes that lead out have a rubber post that can often be used to save the ball. The table can be shaken. 😊
The captive balls will be important.
There will be a 2 ball multiball.
There will be missions and tasks.
And much more...I will report on this soon.
I'm currently programming the rules. In the meantime I will set the lights and add sound effects.
The textures and music will be done on the side.
All in all, the finalization will take some time.
How long exactly? Exactly until I'm happy with it! 😉
