Hey everyone. As you might have seen yesterday, the Steam Free Trial for Battlefield 6 did not work for all players on its first day. We have since resolved the underlying issue and can see that you are storming Area 51 and Vegas Strip!
To give you enough time to really dig in, we are extending the Free Trial Period to Tuesday, October 20 at 5 PM UTC/ 10 AM PDT/ 1 PM EDT/ 6 PM CEST.* Additionally, we are extending the 2x XP weekend to Tuesday as well. Level up your Career Rank, your weapons and unlock the Battle Pass Tiers even quicker! And in case you haven't jumped into the game just yet, we wanted to also highlight how to get the Multiplayer files downloading if you've played REDSEC before or were affected on day one. If you currently don't see Multiplayer tiles in your Free Trial on Steam, follow these steps to get the download started:
Close and restart Steam
Navigate to the Battlefield 6 Store Page here: View game page
Click on "Play Game"
This will allow you to download the Multiplayer files required to jump into matches. To check them yourself, you can also navigate to your game library, right-click Battlefield 6, and click on DLC. You can also choose which files you want Steam to download from there. Thanks for joining us during the Free Trial of Battlefield 6. We're excited to have you! PTFO
