Behold, the final* demo v2 patch!
Improvements
- New language: Dutch!
- Added translations for "INOPERABLE" (engineering panel) and "SATURNIAN" (pilot destination region).
- Added text on ENGINEERING panel "STORED" energy indicator: "(INCLUDING INACTIVE BATTERIES)". (#28)
- The GIF at the end of the game now seamlessly rotates the full 360 degrees.
- Upgraded my build pipeline to fix various issues, auto build addressables, and select specific target combinations.
- General code tidy-up as I wrap up demo development.
- Various translation fixes and improvements.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed broken shader compilation issues with Linux and MacOS, both platforms should be working now.
- Fixed broken text in the module utility control panels.
- Fixed suit upgrade interface displaying the currently installed upgrade in the "AVAILABLE" upgrades field.
- Fixed construction hints overlapping in some languages.
- Fixed tech tree "NOT AVAILABLE" overflow.
- Fixed equipped item info overflow.
- Fixed navigation tab overflow.
- Fixed missing "Saved to:" text in the GIF menu.
- Fixed spacing issues in the inventory list with a new list system. Other list interfaces (Science Hub "LABS" list, Storage, Workbench, etc) may still have spacing issues in certain languages as I have not migrated them yet.
- Fixed Workbench UI crafting list overflow issues with a simple and temporary auto font size fix. Eventually it'll probably use the aforementioned new list system, but the Workbench is still not yet immune to a complete rework!
- Fixed weird construction blocked alert borders.
And with that, Demo v2 development has come to an end! From this point on, there will be no additional patches aside from critical bug fixes and translation edits. Working on the demo has been a blast, but I'm really looking forward to getting into the main game again. My first sprint of pre-alpha 10 is all about automated fluid systems...
I'll see you all on the other side.
