Score Multipliers
We took a look at our scoring mechanic and wanted to reward you not only for how many minions of Chaos you can cut down but also how you do it. We are embarking on a few changes to scoring that will hopefully make it more fun and rewarding to battle in different ways. The first update this week rewards players for accuracy and consistency. For each consecutive attack you land without getting hit, your multiplier builds, granting you bigger and bigger score rewards for each successful attack. Miss your mark and your multiplier gets knocked down a small amount. Take damage and you are reset back to 1.
Progression Balance Part II
In Update 38 we began some changes to mission progression for a smoother ramp up in difficulty. In Update 39 we have adjusted the length of some missions in earlier acts to help with this. Now you will hopefully have a surprise for Lochmog when you show up at his citadel with enough power to teach him a lesson.
HexWind Economics
The financial board of the order of HexWind also came together this week and cut tariffs on a number of magical items. The end result is a number of changes to costs across many stores in the realm. Use your new spending power wisely!
