Hey Pilots!
We've been hard at work on the new mechs and equipment. No big announcements to share right now, but I want to keep you in the loop!
In this post:
- Release timeline
- Minor demo patch (no new mechs, sorry!)
- What is Clobber Games
- New gifs/previews of upcoming mechs
Welcome new players!
We recently had a wave of new players join the alpha. Welcome to the game and thanks for joining us!
Please read this guide to get an understanding of the fundamental gameplay mechanics. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the discord.
Release timeline
You may have noticed the release has been delayed a few times. I'm sorry. Somebody take my keyboard away from me. I need to stop announcing release estimates. My official position is now that it will be released when it's ready. As soon as I can say for sure when this game will be released, I will announce it.

Minor demo patch
We released a small patch on the alpha/demo today. We did not add any new content or mechs. We simply nerfed Jab into oblivion. Goodbye jab-spam!
Demo v0.12:
- Grab is now faster than jab.
- Reduced jab range to 1.
- You now get knocked back if hit while dodging backwards.
Clobber Games
We're currently undergoing a rebrand from "RJ Arcade" to "Clobber Games". Our new website is at www.clobber.net.
We're still the same devs, it's just a new name. I've been meaning to change it for a long time. RJ Arcade was originally my placeholder name, and it implies I'm making this game solo, but that's not true. We're a team of 3! (Not to mention all the help I get from other contributors, friends, family, fellow game developers/publishers, and of course the feedback from you!)
WIP stuff
Here are some new gifs of the upcoming mechs to be released in the full game. Keep in mind these are a work in progress. They haven't been playtested or balanced yet, and will likely change.
GZero
Spider
Glaiver
Titan G1 - Greatsword
Equipment - EMP
That's all for now. Good luck pilot!
