Hey all! I've got some cool stuff to show off today. In this little post, I want to share some stuff coming to the game in the official release and talk about changes regarding the game store page and price change.
I first want to show this screenshot of the catalog page.
You will gain two types of experience at the end of a round. You will use this to keep track of your most used hero and how much you have played as well. You can also see there are unlockables now. To use minis, you will have to level up your hero.
Leveling has not been balanced, but getting the next hero will not take an immense amount of time.
After you level your hero there will be more types of things to collect and unlock in the future, but again this is just some early stuff.
Here below is an early concept for a new hero I am currently working on.
Elemental Wizard, Klor
This character has not been fully fleshed out and has not seen any game time yet, but I am currently working on his design as we speak. I plan for him to have three different types of elements to use as a projectile.
Now that I've shown that I want to say that with all of these changes, there is too much for me to complete at once, so I wanted to announce that the game will launch and officially have seasons.
This idea has not been fully fleshed out but with each (major) update there will be a new season, meaning a new map, with new enemy types and a new hero. This is how the 1.0 update will be. The seasons will always be accessible. It's more or less a way for me to label updates. Plus it just sounds cooler.
With season one, I am wanting to release this as the official 1.0 update. This will be considered a full release. The plan is to have at least two new heroes and the emerald faction finished. So far the emerald faction is technically "finished" but is still needing some tweaks programming-wise.
I am also going to be working on a completely new map for the emerald faction. They are on a type of map that I would like to say does not match their theme at all. This will come way later after I've added more characters and finished everything else.
Here is some completed artwork.
So now that I've shown some early stuff I quickly wanted to discuss the store page. It is currently unfinished and has been since release. I will be fixing this before release and adding a new trailer and updated screenshots. This is just something that I am not willing to fix at the moment.
Coming with new changes will be a price change at release. I will be changing the price on release. There has not been a decided price and it will not be much but I felt as if I should say it here.
Besides that, I hope you all have an amazing day and are staying hydrated.
