So, I needed to clear my head after last week, and I went back to Town to decompress. I was really surprised by what I found back there!
Turns out, there's this tree back there that's started to sprout as we've been terraforming the planet, and it's been helping us back!
We're not really sure how it's doing it, though. Thyme says it's the tree's fruits that invigorate us. Lavender, on the other hand, believes it's the smell of the bark that has beneficial properties on sproutlings. Dill, ever the skeptic, insists that the tree isn't actually doing anything, and that we're just getting better at it.
No matter how you slice it, we HAVE been doing much better since that tree's been around, even if we weren't in the same zone. I remember thinking that the wells had more water than usual... I don't think a simple tree could do that. Is it a weird nature divinity?
We also got really excited when I found a lore leaf monolith! Lore leaves are scattered all over the zones, and monoliths mark the spot where you can find a bunch. We find the leaves, the leaves help the tree grow, and the tree helps us in turn. It's the circle of life!
I need to remember to check in on the tree every so often. But hey, that's why I have this journal, right?
