What’s New in Anti-Extinction RC? Oh, Just Everything.
1. 🌀 Maw Dynamics (Part 1 of 2) is Finally Here!
This is our brand-new chaos destruction engine, and it’s like nothing you’ve experienced before. Imagine sound waves inside a game behaving exactly like they do in real life—echoes bouncing off walls, bass resonating through objects, and the world reacting in real-time to destruction.
Think of it as Horizon’s destruction engine meets sound acoustics simulation—a perfect blend of chaos and realism. With Maw Dynamics, explosions don’t just look good—they sound like they’re breaking the sound barrier!
2. Unity 6000.1.a9 Upgrade!
Yep, we’re now running on Unity 6.1 Alpha 9! Why stick with 6.1 Alpha 7 when we can push even further into the future?
Some highlights from this shiny new upgrade:
- Improved physics simulation (perfect for making Maw Dynamics even crazier).
- Rendering pipeline optimizations—because who doesn’t want prettier graphics and smoother performance? Better editor performance—so our devs can spend less time waiting for progress bars and more time breaking (and fixing) things. Enhanced shader support for crafting visuals so crisp, you’ll think your monitor is 4D. What Does This Mean for You? Destruction That Feels Alive: Whether it’s a building collapsing or a small object shattering, you’re not just seeing it—you’re hearing the world respond as if you’re really there.
- Smooth Performance, No Matter Your Rig: Potato PCs, rejoice! And for you hardware enthusiasts out there, your supercomputer will finally get the workout it deserves. Even Prettier Worlds: Our visuals are leveling up so hard, you’ll wonder if you’re still playing a game or living in the future. Stay Tuned for More! Maw Dynamics is just getting started—Part 2 will blow your mind (and probably your speakers). We’ve got even more features cooking up, and trust me, they’re going to make this game the talk of 2025.
