HEY EVERYONE, FIRST OF ALL MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU!
We know we’ve been quiet over the last six months. With only five of us tackling such massive tasks, we’ve had virtually no breathing room between development and our personal lives. However, as we approach the completion of our first build, we finally have both the content to share and the time to post about it. We sincerely apologize for the long silence.
The sheer volume of content we’re packing into this game is an enormous undertaking for a team of our size. We’re progressing steadily, despite a few hiccups along the way. Game development is an incredibly complex journey, but we are finally ready to ship the game for its Early Access period!
THE CONTENT
We have a wide range of content, from survival mechanics to bunker maintenance. You won't just be scavenging to satisfy your hunger; you'll also be looking after your bunker. Additionally, you’ll need to hunt for upgrade parts to improve your crafting stations, which in turn unlocks more advanced crafting options.
A massive alien dome looms overhead, ensuring there is nowhere to run. This dome monitors your every move and has three primary ways to strike: it can relay your coordinates to the mothership for a precision high-beam laser strike, deploy dropships to strafe your position, or even deploy alien soldiers directly onto your location.
We have alien parasite controlled zombies that mostly move in hordes, but that’s not the scariest thing here, nor are the alien soldiers. There are far scarier things in this hostile new world. Alien creatures own the night, hunting through the dense forests and every pocket of shadow. Keep your eyes up and your light on!
As our Early Access release date approaches, we are not only polishing existing content but also working hard on the new features necessary to complete the game, specifically cutscenes and story-related elements.
We understand that things may not be perfect at launch, but we are passionate and listening. Please join our Discord and help us shape the development of Mass Invasion https://discord.gg/WYAaK6dSU8
