Hey everyone,
We are getting closer and closer to the full version of Idle Life.
The last public beta update was not the end of development. It only marked the point where we decided to keep the remaining 1.0 content behind closed doors, so the full release can still feel fresh and exciting when it finally arrives.
Right now, we are still working on several important parts of the game. Some of them are smaller improvements, while others are bigger changes that are important for the final version.
Still working behind the scenes 🛠️
Development is still very active behind the scenes.
We are currently working on more content, new functions, balancing changes, bug fixes, performance improvements, and final polish for the full version.
This includes:
Adding new items
Adding new functions and gameplay improvements
Fixing some bigger bugs
Improving performance again
Adjusting progression and balancing
Improving UI behavior and game flow
Cleaning up systems before the full release
Preparing the game for the 1.0 launch
A lot of this work is not something we want to show piece by piece anymore, because we want the full version to have some surprises left when players start it for the first time.
New content is still being added 🌿
We are still adding new items and additional content for 1.0.
Some of these items will be part of progression, crafting, research, equipment, Wildground, or future systems. Others are there to make the game feel more complete and give us more room for balancing and future updates.
We do not want to reveal every new item or every new feature before release. The goal is that 1.0 feels bigger, cleaner, and more complete when you finally play it.
New functions and improvements ✨
We are also still adding and improving functions that make the game better to play.
Some systems already exist, but still need more polish, better balancing, or small quality-of-life improvements. Other parts are being adjusted so the full version feels smoother and less confusing.
Idle Life has grown a lot during the Road to 1.0, and many systems are now connected with each other. Because of that, we want to make sure the final version feels more stable, more understandable, and better prepared for long-term progression.
Bug fixes 🐞
We are currently fixing several bugs before the full release.
Some of them are smaller issues, while others are bigger problems that need to be solved before 1.0 goes live.
Bug fixing is one of the most important parts of the remaining work, because we want the full version to feel more reliable and less frustrating than earlier beta versions.
Thank you to everyone who reported bugs during the beta phase. These reports helped a lot and made it easier to find problems that needed to be fixed before release.
More performance improvements 🚀
Performance is still a big focus for us.
Idle Life now has more items, more systems, more UI, more save data, more online features, and more progression than before. Because of that, performance and stability are very important for the full release.
We already made many improvements, but we are still working on making the game run even cleaner, lighter, and more stable.
This includes improvements for different parts of the game, such as UI behavior, item data, textures, saves, memory usage, and general performance.
Why we are keeping some things hidden 👀
We know that many players followed the beta updates closely, and we are very thankful for that.
But for the final steps before 1.0, we want to keep some things secret.
If we show every new item, every new function, every balance change, and every surprise before release, the full version would feel less exciting. That is why some of the remaining work will stay behind closed doors until 1.0 is available.
The beta helped us test systems, collect feedback, fix bugs, and improve the game. Now we want the final release to feel like something players can discover again.
Planned full release date 📅
According to the current plan, we want to release the full version of Idle Life on:
15.09.
This is our current planned release date for the full version.
There is still work left to do, and we want to use the remaining time to improve the game as much as possible before release.
If anything important changes, we will let you know.
Getting closer to 1.0 💚
The Road to 1.0 has been a long process.
A lot has changed, many systems were reworked, new features were added, old ideas were improved, and the game became much bigger than it was before.
We are now getting closer to the point where Idle Life can finally leave Early Access and move into the full version.
There are still some final steps left, but the 1.0 release is no longer far away.
Thank you 💚
Thank you for playing, testing, reporting bugs, giving feedback, and following the development of Idle Life.
Your feedback during the beta updates helped a lot and made it easier to improve the game step by step.
We are excited to finish the final work behind the scenes and prepare Idle Life for the full release on the current planned date: 15.09.
