After 4 years of solo development, I am incredibly excited to announce that Rocket Engineer is launching in Early Access on August 28th for $9.99 USD!
What to expect on Day 1:
The initial release gives you the core space simulation experience. You will have 3 distinct celestial bodies to land on, each featuring unique resources to extract and process. You'll be able to build out your colonies with a variety of structures and design rocket parts to establish transport routes across your settlements.
Why Early Access?
Because building a game that mixes orbital flight with factory gameplay is a massive undertaking, I want to work directly with the community to balance the resource loops, squash bugs, integrate community’s ideas, and refine the mechanics before a full 1.0 release. Your feedback will directly shape the future of the game.
The Roadmap Ahead:
Throughout Early Access, the universe will expand significantly. The first major update is targeted for mid 2027, which will completely revamp the existing planets, overhaul the map view, and introduce two brand-new celestial bodies to explore.
Thank you to everyone who has supported the journey so far. Wishlist Rocket Engineer today and get ready for liftoff on August 28th!
