Bat Blast! has been updated today. There are a ton of changes and additions:
- Added new achievements.
- Added custom cursor.
- Added a new enemy (Harbinger Mage).
- Added a new enemy (Sentinel).
- Added a new enemy (Wight).
- Added a new chapter (Ch. 7 - Frozen Ramparts). Music pending.
- Added a new spell (Demonic Chakram).
- Added a new feature (JUICE UP! Collecting 20 fruits causes you to JUICE UP granting you infinite, empowered blasts for the next 10 seconds).
- Added a new type of treasure called Diamond Gems. Diamond Gems grant you 50 gold but are very, very rare.
- Added music to the intermission screen.
- Added Treasure Chests. Chests have a small chance to spawn in the place of breakables and grant a varying amount of gold coins.
- Added new secret areas to the game. Each non-bonus level now has at least 1 secret area.
- Adjusted Arthur’s bat light to prevent colour blending that made him hard to see.
- Adjusted Spell Pricing. All spell costs have been increased.
- Adjusted Bat Pricing. All bat costs have been increased.
- Adjusted coin spawn chance (Nerfed - they now have a 2% chance to spawn down from 20%).
- Adjusted the Latent Mana (Nerfed - now has a 5% chance to grant you mana when hitting walls down from 40%).
- Adjusted the number of bonus coins earned for gaining level stars. Each star now earns you 5 coins. You can only earn gold for each star once per save file.
- Adjusted the Trailblazer talent (Has been tweaked so that the spawned fire trail no longer falls. Effects updated and burn increased to 1 second).
- Grails now have a 2% chance to spawn outside of bonus rounds.
- You can now type numbers in your save file name.
- Talents now cost gold to unlock them as well as having a star requirement.
- Rollers now explode when hit by traps or spells.
- Fixed an edge-case bug with talent selection.
- Freakish Eyes can now only reproduce themselves up to ten times to prevent Freakish Eye swarms.
- Levels are now marked in the level select menu when you beat your best time.
- Secrets are now uniquely counted towards their related achievements.
- Misc. Hud improvements.
