New cursor control options are available for those who prefer dedicating a hand to the mouse rather than swapping to it for occasional use.
Among these options is the ability to map a button to set waypoints at your cursor. Your avatar will walk towards waypoints directly and interact with an object if the waypoint was set while highlighting the object. The waypoint will even follow an object it's anchored to if it moves.
The idea was to make a mode of movement similar to point & click adventure games. Waypoints won't do everything for you, however. They can only control your avatar's horizontal movement and have no pathfinding capabilities. You'll still need to time your jumps from time to time.
