Hello fellow Catchers & Runners,
An extremely critical bug was reported to me by a player (credit : Bren), I tried to fix the bug over the weekend, realised how critical it was, knew I'd needed more time and so the PlayTest was deactivated on 04/04/2026. (after hours of trying to fix it)
PlayTest Reactivation & End Date
Start Date: 10/04/2026 (Fri), 13:00 PM UTC
End Date: 26/04/2026 (Sun), 13:00 PM UTC [Extended]
Developer Vlog :
Rewired network coding systems, now there is a better communication structure between server and client. This includes thoroughly relooking and fixing the entire in-game system (for the HDB game scene).
Backend manager was introduced to handle network objects.
Player Patch Notes :
Reworked lighting system to create a more darker and atmospheric ambience for horror.
CCTV's lighting has been dimmed.
Side Note From The Developer
This is by far the most difficult one I've faced, as frustrating it was, I've learnt alot more about network coding and development. Thank you for being patient.
(drafted this as soon as I got back home from work)
