Hello, hello Indiedev, Indiegame and Mushroom lovers! 🤠
Today, we’ll be discussing the evolution of *Mycelium Heaven*'s logo and key art.
So, first things first. Behold, the first Itch thumbnail:

Outstanding, I know. Just keep in mind that this was made for a game jam, and I was working solo. I left the capsule and title for the very last minute. In the Unreal Editor, the game was titled *Juego Setas* ("Mushroom Game") and *No hay mal que por bien no venga* ("There's always a silver lining") on the Notion page.
I even used this rough version of the logo to pitch the game for a while, but thankfully, that didn’t last long. My dad came to the rescue.

One evening at my grandparents' house, we came up with a new logo. My dad sketched it, and I colored it. So, big thanks to my dad (Raúlo Cáceres) for his time and to my mom for being there to capture the moment.

This was the main capsule for a while. But then I joined Dojo System! And they helped me a lot with some polishing deteails, like changing thar logo for a new one.

Now that’s a pretty cool-looking video game title, if you ask me. And you know what would be even cooler? An illustration!
And this super awesome cover art has been made by
Azul Fernández

I think this new look fits the game perfectly. Spooky, fun, intriguing, and full of mushrooms!
See you in the next one!👋
