Hey everyone,
We launched our first Community Rebuild Survey on March 18th, and the results are ready. Here's everything the community said and what it means for the roadmap.
📊 By the Numbers
7 responses in the first wave
6 players want to participate in playtests
6 players want to be credited as contributors
6 players want monthly community polls to continue
🏗️ Core Direction
Game structure: The community is split almost evenly between pure Singleplayer (43%) and Singleplayer + Co-op (43%). Nobody asked for fully competitive multiplayer co-op with friends is the clear direction. Game scope: Renovation + Decoration leads at 43%, with Full Simulation (economy + management) close behind at 29%. Several players suggested combining both which is exactly what we're thinking too. Depth level: "Medium" and "player-chosen difficulty" tied at 43%. Nobody wants the game to be too casual, but nobody wants hardcore either. Flexibility is key.
⚙️ Most Requested Mechanics
Every single respondent selected Renovation. Here's the full ranking:
🔨 Renovation — 7/7
🏠 Construction — 6/7
🧑 NPC Clients — 6/7
💰 Economy System — 5/7
🌍 Open World — 5/7
🏘️ Renting — 5/7
🤝 Negotiation — 4/7
Community additions: Auctions/bidding, landscaping, career progression, pets, furniture customization.
🎮 Overall Game Feel
57% want a Balanced feel, 29% Realistic. Nobody picked Arcade. This tells us: simulation depth matters, but fun and playability always come first.
❌ What to Absolutely Avoid
The community was clear on what we should NOT do:
Bad textures / low visual quality
Ignoring small details
Forcing multiplayer on everyone
Too few decoration, paint, or floor options
Unnecessary complexity or bloat
🗳️ Roadmap Feedback
71% said the roadmap system is great — keep going. One player suggested running more polls via Discord too, which we're seriously considering.
🚀 What's Next
Based on this survey, we'll now build the first official roadmap focused on:
Core renovation + construction loop
NPC client system
Basic economy
Co-op foundation
The roadmap will be published within 1 month. After that, new polls for the next mechanics batch will follow and this cycle continues.
Thank you to every single person who responded. This game is yours as much as ours. 👇 Drop your thoughts in the comments below and if you haven't filled out the survey yet, the link is still open.
