Hey Settlers,
As my team is taking a deserved break till the start of April. I have been watching reactions and feedback from players, and wanted to focus on some persistent balance issues, handle some stability issues and keep you updated with some of our plans.
This update won't have any new content, as mentioned team is on a break after the release.
- My goal in balancing the game is to make sure there is none to small waiting time for resource. This is especially a problem for waiting resources on spaceship cost resources.
- To combat this I'm going to try almost halving the cost of all spaceship parts in game (including Launch pad cost 500->300 per resource)
- Following that, the gravity of planets will be slightly increased and the explosion & malfunction chances will be 21->25% by default.
- So this means, slightly harder launches, but half the cost. This would increase the feeling of engineering a "better spaceship design" all around the board.
Japanese Font Enhancements
There was an issue about displaying Kanji-characters in Japanese version of the game, which we fixed this.
Steam Trading Cards
Steam, approved Stellar Settlers for profile capabilities and Steam Trading cards after just a week of release. Now you will drop cards, backgrounds and emojis while you play.
Additional Fixes;
- fix hub tunnel placement on top
- fix hauler air supply targeting on map with islands
- flood and rainstorm height control of structures
