Heya, Tinkerlanders!
You know what they say—no rest for the wicked! And that’s us right now, thanks to all the amazing feedback you keep sending. We’re not stopping until every Tinkerlander is loving their time in our tiny adventure.
But before we jump into the fun stuff (like improvements!), there’s something we need to mention. We’ve come across a particularly tricky bug that’s out of our control because of how Steam works.
How to deal with "Error in action number 1" crash
If you’ve played the prologue before, you might run into the "Error in action number 1" crash when launching the game. Don’t worry—it just means Steam cloud trying to load some older game files. To fix it, head over to %appdata%/Roaming/Shipwrecked/players and delete the player files.
You should also turn off Steam Cloud syncing by right-clicking the game, going to Properties, and unchecking the Cloud option.
Alright, now let’s get to the exciting part—what’s been improved in the new demo!
New Additions
- Added toggle in the options menu, allowing players to turn it off and return to the previous hotbar.
- Ticket report tool now shares some extra data with us so we can have more intel about the bugs. (inventory, equipment and gamemode)
