Better Than Dead Update 0.311 is live
Update 0.311 is now available.
The main focus of this update is improved mouse sensitivity consistency across different DPI settings, alongside improvements to blood effects, enemy variation, movement and several fixes.
Mouse sensitivity
Mouse input has been adjusted to reduce differences in aiming behavior between low and high DPI configurations.
Aiming should now feel more consistent across different mouse setups, particularly at higher DPI settings.
If you previously found aiming difficult to control, especially on a high-DPI mouse, I recommend giving the game another try with this update. This change may address the issue you were experiencing.
Blood and enemy variation
Blood materials have been improved, particularly their appearance under different lighting conditions.
Blood spray when an enemy is hit is also more coherent with the direction and point of impact.
More clothing texture variations have also been added to enemies throughout the game.
Patch Notes
Improved mouse sensitivity consistency across different DPI settings.
Fixed ragdoll impulses on dead or wounded enemies.
Improved blood materials.
Improved blood spray when hitting enemies.
Added more enemy clothing texture variations.
If Sprint is held during a slide, sprinting now resumes automatically when the slide ends.
General fixes and improvements.
Thank you to everyone who tested the preview build and sent feedback.
