A happy Coups D'État to you!
A Coup D’état is a forceful change from the top through sudden overthrow (and a reliable way to end a revolution!) With that in mind, our latest update Coups D'État is inspired by the famous Coup of 18 Brumaire against the French Directory which paved the way for Napoleon's ascent to power. With many new additions - including the official epic conclusion of the game - we excited to push this update out!
With this update you will find the following:
Part III campaign events, battles, and THE EPIC CONCLUSION OF THE GAME!
NEW Trial instances
NEW Addition of sounds effects
Multiple bug fixes
Just a reminder: your old saves will work with the new update BUT if you want full functionality, a new start is recommended.
We would love to know any feedback you have for us around these updates and the game. Your comments & questions are always greatly appreciated by the team!
Thanks again to everyone who took the time to send feedback after the last update, including any bugs! Reminder that if you are experiencing a bug, you can report it in-game by pressing the F1 key.
Looking to meet fellow revolutionaries? We also have a Discord, come join us! Our Discord also has a dedicated bug channel for reporting and one-on-one support.
We present to you the patch notes for v0.16.0.0-RC3, the Coups D'État update!

List of Known Issues
Languages
At 1.0 launch, the game will include Chinese(Simplified) and Chinese(Traditional), Japanese and Korean, but these will not be present in Early Access.
Resolution
Ultrawide resolutions are not currently supported.
Dialogue
Some of the dialogue, in particular when buildings are constructed/demolished/upgraded or units are recruited, is very repetitive and unnecessary.
Dialogue UI panels may occasionally flicker at the beginning of some conversations when taking actions on the strategic map.
There are several typos in the dialogue that will be addressed before launch.
Visuals
There are some cluttered text popups, particularly during combat sequences.
The army movement arrow can clip through units and gizmos.
Audio
Some sound effects remain to be added into the game, for example in the National Convention.
Interface
Various panels in the game are still undergoing interface polish. This includes:
All recruitment panels (Batallion, Colossus, and Officer)
Many of the smaller pop up panels
The save/load panel
Some panels, such as the negotiation panel in the clubs, need to be aligned better
There may also be small layout/formatting issues on various panels as well
Bugs
With the scope of the game, bugs are inevitable, and while the team is rapidly fixing bugs we always welcome you to report them here on Steam, or on our Discord:
