It's over, I'm like 90% finished with this part of the game and will be creating a whole new area now *(finally..)*. This process might take a while but I want to perfect this so I'm taking my time here. Anyways, I'm feeling quite good about the state of courier right now, lets hope it stays this way.
Enough talk, patch notes time!
Introducing PERKS!!
By playing the game and completing various challenges, you gain permanent perks. You can select one perk for a run when the game starts. Right now there are 5 perks that you can unlock. All perks should be useful and should give you a good head start for synergies.
Added a Map
You now have access to the map. At first, the map will be blank and you will need to piece the map together to get the most of it. You can toggle the map with M (Start for controllers)
Call-Ins
You can now call for orders with TAB (Right Bumper). This interaction skips the waiting time completely and generates a new order immediately with a little less time for delivery. Each Call-In order grants a small tip.
Benefits and upgrades:
Removed:
Careful Skids, Ultimate Road Kit, Anti-Sneeze Syrup, Sneeze Syrup
Retouched:
Junk Compass reworked. Now points towards the shop instead of nearest destination.
Risk Taker reworked. Special orders spawn more frequently and upon delivery, every order regenerates 7 seconds
One Moment Please - Start On-Hold state: 5s >> 8s
Bible now restores 15 seconds on each order if triggered successfully
Risk Taker now restores 7s for every package after delivering a special order.
Great Deal! gain 1 strike instead of 2 but start your next day with slashed tires.
FQchange.rlb - Cops will strike you when you speed past them with this item.
Adrenaline Rush renamed to Rushdrenaline
and various price adjustments in the shop
New:
Added 8 new benefits and 4 new items.
Gameplay:
All active items are now cooldown dependent. I think its way better to have a cooldown approach instead of single use.
Wheel of fortune money reward: 250€ >> 170€
Mechanic skill tree is now way more expensive, requiring +- 1000€ to unlock a single section
Locals during Rush Hour Event Day are faster
Veterran NPC has been brought back (same quest as before but now gives a reward)
When handling quests given by NPCs, all orders get paused (deleted and reset previously)
QoL and fixes:
Ironed out some issues with drones
Fog visuals have been updated
Improved collisions
Bible now has a new animation whenever it triggers (actually insane)
*Hopefully* fixed pick up triggers. They should not get voided now
Delivered packages (props thrown when you deliver package) dont deal damage to the player
Adjusted vehicle acceleration when offroad
Reliablo now displays ticket count
Special order spawning has been fixed and now spawn as intended
Fixed some AI issues
Orders now have hp bar
Fixed some benefits not behaving correctly
