Hello Hobomancers, we hope you all had a terrific and wonderful Next Fest!
We are dropping one last patch for the demo before Early Access (that magical number is getting ever closer!) This small patch contains quality of life changes that are mostly aimed towards new players trying the game for the first time (primarily getting lost in the beginning). And a moderate rework of the Low Vibration (Strength) start.
Low Vibration (Strength) Rework
No longer needs to do complicated combo setups. Can now caveman your way through all your problems by hitting them with basic melees.
Power punching can be charged up separately. Hitting enemies with basic melees also amplify the damage this attack will do.
Fixed blocking not triggering a build up for a Retaliation Attack. IT'S PRETTY STRONG. MIGHT BE OVERTUNED TBH.
Heals from killing enemies increased from 30 to 50. Removed Toxin and Rad. cleanse on kill.
All melee attacks for this class now works in Duels.
Quality of Life
Changed 'Auto-Repair Spray and Auto-Repair Device' name to just 'Repair Spray' and 'Repair Device'. "Auto" implies it's used automatically, but is clearly not the case.
Better on-boarding tutorialization for item usage and repairing weapons.
Moved brightness option to a higher up place in the menu - given that most players going to the menu are looking for this.
Level Adjustment
Added blockages and lighting to funnel and guide the player in particular directions.
Adjusted world geometry to lessen disorientation in black/white zones.
And that will be all for now. We hope you enjoyed Divine Frequency!!
We absolutely cannot wait to deliver this game to your hand. The wait has been agonizing for us just as much as it has been for you! But as always, we do not want to butcher a first launch, this game needs to be prestine on launch.
Thank you all once again for your ongoing love and support, it means the world to us!
Until next time!!
