Fixes an issue where the main menu buttons don't work if game controllers are
plugged in. Please note: Game controllers are not yet supported. Keyboard and Mouse is the control method currently.
Fixes an issue with the compass background image taking up a large portion of the screen in 4:3 aspect ratio.
