What's New!
- Spiwick Boss Battle Phase 2 at the East Goldencoast. It is now possible to defeat Spiwick, but good luck, this fight isn't going to be easy.
- New level/side boss battle at the Roseyard. It is now possible to enter the Roseyard. But where could the Collector be? Is the Collector even alive?
- 8 New achievements
- New Shop with new items including: The basic suit, goggles, fishing pole, lifeboat, mountain map, hidden cubes description map, health meditate upgrade to 4,000 HP, and all 3 keys for the Roseyard access.
- Fixed an issue where store audio and/or others still played when trying to re-play the memory world
- Added check marks to Memory World's puzzle to allow figuring out the solution, to be easier.
What didn't make it yet?
Adding new things is always a challenge. When the game first launched in early access, the plan for side quests were not there. As more and more side quests are made, it delays the overall game and new levels to be created at a slower pace. There are 2 side quests that require starting over from scratch and the reason they did not make it in this update. As well as an old, "Boneyard Docks" level that is getting an overhaul. The Boneyard Docks is a puzzle board that allows the player to get to both the Ghost Lands, and the Ice Islands. The Ghost Lands level is planned for patch (0.9.2) but before getting to that patch, there are 0.9.1.6 and 0.9.1.7. If more fixes required after those 2, it could extend the patches further.
Here's a break down of the new planned updates so far (everything is subject to change):
--0.9.1.6--
- Plan: Maps and journals for boneyard docks levels.
- Plan: Add a way to pay gold to beat the puzzles.
- Plan: Returning level with updates, the Boneyard docks (ship puzzles). Travel to both the Ghost lands and the Ice Islands.
- Plan: Add a way to replay the original docks level.
- Plan: New achievements?
- Plan: New side quest (NPC interaction). This interaction is supposed to reward you the heart upgrade for meditate but unfortunately has been delayed. The only way to get the upgrade right now is to purchase it from the in game store shop located in the West Dunes.
--0.9.1.7--
- Plan: New side quest (fishing). Delayed due to dock levels needing an overhaul.
- Plan: Fix known dual monitors issue.
- Plan: Add in-game controller layouts for both PS5 controller and Xbox Series controller. It would also be nice if we can possibly implement auto detection when a controller is plugged in. Unfortunately, the current engine used may be limited.
