We're thrilled to announce the release of Vestiges: Fallen Tribes newest update 0.11.0. One more time, this update introduces a new Adrarii unit: the "Mindhunter". This game-changing unit possesses the extraordinary ability to convert your opponent’s units into loyal assets for your army. What units will you pair with the Mindhunter to make the most threatening custom deck ?
Now, players can also put their custom deck to the test in Practice mode, emphasizing strategic mastery like never before and getting ready for competition. Your feedback has been consequential in shaping this update, and we're dedicated to continuously refining and enhancing your gaming experience.
- Mindhunter: a new Adrarii unit that converts enemies to his team
- New start screen showing the players nicknames and factions
- Board opening animation and SFX
- UI SFX
- Deck selection for Practice Mode (including Custom Decks)
Lead 3d Artist Johann Gerard spent some time making this amazing animation from modeling the elements from Suzanne's concepts to animating them. “At each stage, I had to think about how to do things, and that's what was enjoyable to do. Additionally, this exercise combined a variety of techniques: using multiple UVs for texturing, scripting, and utilizing shape keys (morph targets).”
For example, there are around a hundred pieces in the animated board. Manually placing one bone on each piece (which allows it to move) would have taken me a lot of time. So, to speed up the process, Johann wrote a script that does it in just one click inside Blender.
- Improved artworks on cards
- Now possible to rename a Custom Deck
- IA improvements: update target more frequently, update target if taking damage
- VR: Improved menus with UI frames
- New objects on battlefield
- Fixed Find Match button text and state not updating properly
- Fixed a random bug preventing from playing any card on certain rounds
