Apparently a very recent update to Windows 10 broke the game! We re-compiled the app using a newer version of the engine, and it should work again. Latest version is 1.58. Restart Steam if the game doesn't auto-update for you.
UPDATE - If the new version doesn't work, also try the "64bit" branch.
