1.1 – Moist Mysteries is here! Loved the game before? You’ll love it more. If you didn’t, I added enough new stuff to confuse you into having fun. Let’s go.
Fishing
Moist Mysteries adds two professions, each as its own minigame. One of them is Fishing! Unlock the Fishing Spot with Blood Rubies and start grinding. Maybe you can even find a purpose for your fish.
Professions cap at level 99. Your stats scale with your profession level - so even rough runs still push you forward.
Gambling
The second profession is Gambling. The Wishing Well is the place to throw your leftover gold from the last run. How far can you go before the well curses your earnings?
New Hero: Nox
Moist Mysteries adds a new, moist hero with a new, moist damage type. How do you unlock Nox? I could tell you… but the deep waters prefer whispers and rumors.
Loop Mode
You don’t want to stop playing after you smashed the Balrog’s head? Then don’t. Loop Mode is a new unlock that lets you push through the Depths endlessly - with new Depth variations and unique map mods. Only death can stop you.
(Disclaimer: Dying in a Loop doesn’t affect your win streak.)
New Balrog Fight
Talking about the Balrog... After experiencing his first existential crisis, he went to the gym and learned some new techniques. Just for you!
Arcane Rework
The old Book Of Mysteries was OP and a chaotic mess. It got a proper overhaul - including homing and orbiting projectiles. It feels insanely good now. Try it.
Hero Traits
I buffed and overhauled the Traits of underperforming heroes.
Four heroes also received a set of three perks that upgrade their starting Trait. More heroes will follow.
Aric: Cleavy Frenzy, Head Start, Overkill Ecstasy
Ember: Holy Flame, Moving Heat, Sacred Expansion
Gundel: Flashpoint, Fuel the Fire, Scorch Radius
Icicle: Frostbound Harvest, Frostwind Salve, Triple Burst
Camp
Got more Blood Rubies than you can spend? Good news. The Blood Ruby Merchant has new offers - including the Tailor, where you can select portal skins and a new camp layout.
Favoring Perks
Can’t decide between two perks? Favoring has you covered. Favor a perk to increase its chance to show up again. You start with 1 Favor, and can unlock more through achievements.
Performance and Balance
Tons of performance work and balancing across the board. The game should feel noticeably smoother.
More Features:
37 new Achievements
15 new Unlocks
35 new Perks
Polished Map Mods
Bosses now drop a chest that lets you select an additional perk. The Balrog drops a legendary chest so you can start Loop 1 with a second damage type.
The Bloodsealed Pouch from the Blood Ruby Merchant lets you carry over leftover gold from a run. Either gamble it away at the Wishing Well or take it with you when you start a new run.
