Once again, Tomie won a character poll by a landslide. Understandable, since she's been around since Femdom Waifu and we include her in any game we can find a spot for her. The poll was also a way for us to see if either Emily or Jitsuko had started catching up in popularity, but Tomie is just unstoppable. After the game releases, we'll do another character poll and we're very curious to see if there will be any change in relative popularity.
As promised, our artist started prioritizing the Tomie pool scene and swimsuit art. Of course, Tomie would wear the kind of swimsuit that covers little and is easy to remove.
Here's our OG waifu in her swimsuit:
Tomie never disappoints and neither does our artist. Next month, we hope to have one of the other two swimsuits ready to show off. The designs have been picked out and our artist is hard at work, but on more than one project at a time. Speaking of which, now that we've settled on their swimsuit designs, the pool scenes for each of the 3 girls received minor rewrites to include mention of their swimsuit designs. Honestly, once we had their sexy designs picked out, I just wanted to write a little more. I love this job.
Since our artist is also currently working on a secret side project we'll announce soon, they're only gonna have time for one of the other two swimsuit designs in November. We could just use the results from last month's poll, but that feels disingenuous.
Psst. Just between you and me: I'm really looking forward to the Jitsuko design. It's pretty much exactly what I'm into. That may be because I came up with the base concept. Yes, I'm not so subtly trying to influence the poll. In fact, that's gonna be our little experiment with this month's poll: election interference. Previous polls showed Emily is more popular than Jitsuko and that held true with last month's poll. Let's see if I can sway the vote a little. You know what to do!
In more gameplay related news, we identified a balance issue with two abilities when used together, so those have been rebalanced. The Stage 3 combat for Emily and Tomie has been considerably changed by modifying some abilities and combat percentages to make their respective combat focuses more pronounced as we felt the fights weren't different enough. Initial testing shows they're now undertuned, so we're gonna be cranking up some values and re-testing. Once we have all 3 girls balanced in a way we think is challenging yet doable, we're gonna have people outside the dev team test them for a fresh perspective. With any luck and their schedules permitting, that'll happen in November. That would leave just the Hana final boss fight to design combat wise. Until we start on the Shizuru dlc, that is.
