Greetings Fellow Dwarves,
Today we are excited to share a fantastic build, created by the talented Bardin “Bard” Trollsmasher on Discord! Bard has created several fantastic builds over the past year, but we decided to show off one of their latest builds, The Statue!
This is what the final result looked like, but Bard showed us the full process, from start to finish. We hope by sharing this build that it’ll help inspire new builds, and to also show off the creativity found in our Discord server!
Part 1 - The Weapon
Bard already had a fantastic base to start with, with a lovely walkway and a stairway leading to the top. They carefully created a weapon to start the statue, choosing the right location so there is enough space to truly show off their creative skills. But something is missing… maybe a huge dwarf (ironic, we know) wielding the weapon could help?
Part 2 - The Body
The hardest part of starting a huge project is the start of it, ensuring that dimensions are correct and there’s enough space for everything planned. This is the start of the body, with intricate details to add texture and structure to the build.
Part 3 - The Arms
Arguably one of the most complex parts of the design process due to angles, Bard did a fantastic job constructing the arms.
Part 4 - The Head
And last but no least, is the head; the final part that completes the statue. The powerful stance combined with the fierce face will make any dwarf feel intimidated if they dare to infiltrate this base. Enter if you dare!
Thank you for sharing this build with us, Bard!
If you have a base, factory or build you would like to be featured, share them with us on Discord: https://discord.gg/4cyNVsGmAz
