With this first Hero Spotlight, we begin a journey into the world of Dark Quest 4, where legends are forged in shadow and steel. Each spotlight will unveil a selection of heroes who stand against the encroaching darkness, their names destined to echo through the ages. Today, we reveal the first three.
Savager
The Savager excels in aggressive, high-pressure combat. She may gain health each time she strikes, sustaining herself through sheer brutality. Driven by a thirst for blood, she can strike multiple times in a single turn, overwhelming foes with relentless pressure. When wounded, she becomes Enraged, gaining extra damage on her next attack, striking back with even greater ferocity.
Lancer
Malkra the Lancer thrives in toe-to-toe combat, where her skill and precision shine. Wielding a powerful lance, she can pierce through multiple foes, dealing devastating damage to clustered enemies. Years of rigorous training have taught her to exploit every weakness in enemy defenses, allowing her to shatter armor and deal bonus damage. Enemies who dare to underestimate her soon learn their mistake, as her masterful parry techniques can quickly turn the tide and finish off even the most persistent adversaries.
Firemage
There is no limit to what Caldrius can unleash with a flick of his hand. His vast arsenal of fire magic is designed to devastate and dominate. Burning hands can incinerate even the strongest foes at close range, while his fireball has the power to obliterate entire ranks in a single blast. A carefully placed firewall can trap and weaken enemies, turning the battlefield into a blazing inferno. When raw destruction is not enough, Caldrius calls upon his loyal Firebeast, a fierce creature that attacks enemies, absorbs damage, and draws their attention. To Caldrius, fire is not just a weapon; it is the essence of his power.
