What Has Changed?
First of all, we want to thank the 1,000,000+ Travelers who played the demo and prologue, shared feedback, and helped us improve the game. Here are some of the biggest changes in the full version:
New Worlds & Multi-Biome System
We have gone beyond the 3 worlds of the demo, and in the full version of the game, we are introducing a total of 8 worlds!
Previously, the game progressed in the order of Forest, Snowfield, and Night Sky, but now you will visit 5 worlds in the order of Forest, Spirit Land, Higher Dimension, Island of Despair, and Throne of the Lonely King.
In addition, with the introduction of the multi-biome system, in the Spirit Land, one of the 3 biomes—Snowfield, Flame Zone, or Cave of Oblivion—will be randomly selected, and in the Higher Dimension, either the existing Night Sky or the Lotus Plateau will be randomly played. Each world contains unique enemies, challenges, rewards, and powerful bosses waiting.
Also, in this full version, an ending has been added, allowing travelers’ journeys to finally come to a proper close. When you defeat the Hero Boss on the Island of Despair, you can choose to either return to the Turbulent Forest to repeat the game or enter the Throne of the Lonely King to end everything.
Revamped Constellation & Traveler Mastery
We’ve completely reworked the constellation system to maximize build customization. Stars can now be purchased with Star Dust. Unlocking additional stars requires Traveler Mastery.
Traveler Mastery increases as you play your favorite travelers. Leveling it up unlocks more stars and grants special rewards like Traveler Banners.
See our previous dev notes for details!
New Playable Travelers
In the demo, there were already 5 different classes, but based on the hottest ideas requested by the community, we added Nachia (Summoner/Support), Shell (Assassin), and Bismuth (Stylish Mage) to the game. These travelers play in completely different styles from the existing ones, and each waits to journey with you through the Stream with their own unique constellations and builds.
Continue Dreaming
Has it ever happened that your character is too powerful and sweeping away all the enemies, but suddenly you need to go somewhere? Or maybe your pet Komodo dragon pulled out your PC’s power plug, or it’s time to go to bed? In this full version, the Save and Continue feature—requested by many users in the community—has been added, so even if you quit the game, you can resume your journey anytime!
Reconnect & Mid-Game Join
We have added a reconnect feature so that players who left the game can rejoin and return! Even if you leave a co-op game or get disconnected, you can join the same lobby again and continue playing with your traveler and items as before.
Also, we have added a mid-game join system so that new players can join games that are already in progress! When you join a lobby where the game is already ongoing, you can select the traveler you want to play and enter the game, and you will be granted appropriate amounts of memories, essences, and currency to help you quickly catch up to the game flow.
Besides these, there are many more changes, but we have little space to mention them all. We hope these changes can enrich your journey.
Save Data Transfer
Players who have played the demo or prologue versions can continue their save data directly in the full version!
Demo version and save transfer support will end 3 weeks after the full release, so please be sure to complete your save transfer along with receiving your launch event rewards before then.
*In the case of data transfer, playtime, achievements, unlocked memories, essences, and travelers, discovered memories and essences, discovered relics, and stardust will all be restored, and constellations will be reset, but all Stardust invested will be 100% refunded.
However, for saves older than the prologue version, discovered relics may not be restored.
Thank you for joining the journey
As the developer, we are very happy to finally present Shape of Dreams to you after a long development time. And we truly thank the players who have patiently waited for such a long time.
But it is not over yet! You have sent us good ideas and feedback so far, and we know you will continue to do so. Accordingly, we plan to add features that the community has requested a lot, such as mod support, in the near future, and we will continue to improve the game by adding new items, systems, hidden bosses, diverse stories, and hardcore modes.
We will announce more details on what updates you can look forward to in the future!
✨ Bon Voyage!
