this update gives you more freedom to shape both your character's appearance and how you approach a build. With lowered item requirements, you'll have access to an even broader range of gear during a standard playthrough.
New players will encounter a clearer introduction area to help them learn about the game's core mechanics, while returning players can carry learned blueprints across their newly created characters and experiment with a broader range of equipment earlier in their journey.
To celebrate the update, Pale Coins is on sale for 30% off through August 10 on Steam.
Major Updates
Transmogrification - Change your armor appearance
Weapon and armor requirements - Most weapons and armor have significantly lower stat requirements (only applies to newly found items)
New items - Additional early‑ and mid‑game items
Global blueprint knowledge - Learned blueprints are now shared across all characters (requires loading the original character once after updating)
Improved tutorials - Dedicated rooms to learn the core mechanics
Controller layouts - Choose between two controller layouts in the options
Minor Updates
Weapon and armor balancing changes - Small stat adjustments to existing weapons and armor
Magic skill gems - Select non-mage weapons can now socket mage skill gems
Freeze status changes - Frozen enemies now move and attack more slowly
Screenshots - F12 screenshots while Steam is active (Developer Mode must be disabled)
Armor access - Additional armor added to a merchant in the capital

Fixed the wrong description of the Spirit Slash skill gems
Fixed input direction issues of follow-up skills
