The spooky season has arrived in Backpack Battles! We are adding two Halloween-themed Unique items with this update - the Pumpkin and Tim!
Also, you can now unlock a new outfit for the Reaper in the wardrobe on the title screen.
Another week has passed with our demo being top 1 on Steam with a new peak of over 14,000 concurrent players. We're hyped and we're working hard on the full version! Don't forget to wishlist it <3

- NEW UNIQUE Item: Tim

- For the next week, the amount of random Uniques is increased and the new ones are more common.
- NEW Halloween Reaper skin
Balance:
- Stone: Cooldown 3s -> 3.5s
- Corrupted Crystal (Armor): Debuffs needed 5 -> 7 (it generates Block less often now)
- Emerald (Weapon & Armor): Increased chances
- Sapphire (Weapon): Decreased chances
- Pestilence Flask: Cost 5g -> 7g
- Cap of Resilience: Also adds 10% chance to resist a stun
Fixes:
- Fixed rare case of multiple Djinn Lamps both triggering off the same resources
- Fixed a bug where many opponent runs were seen as invalid, leading to occasional lags when starting a fight and sometimes a smaller matchmaking pool
Other:
- Potions now show the color of their * potion
- Bags now play an animation when an item is placed inside them that they can affect
- Ranger’s Chibi sprite got an overhaul
