Dust Raiders – Post-Launch Roadmap + 20% Discount
Hello Raiders!
We’re kicking things off with some great news — Dust Raiders is now 20% off for a limited time! If you’ve been waiting to jump into the wasteland or invite a friend along for the ride, now’s the perfect moment.
And that’s not all. Your feedback since launch has been invaluable (reviews, mails, discord, everywhere!) and today we’d like to share our post-release roadmap for Dust Raiders. This roadmap is designed to expand replayability, add more variety, and give players even more ways to experience life in the deadly wasteland.
🔹 Update #1 – We break the shackles - the game goes on! [~ September 16]
Free Play after Story Completion – Once you finish the main storyline, you’ll be able to continue your journey in Free Play mode without time restrictions.
Crew Bonuses from Cargo – Certain crew members will now provide bonuses even when stationed in Cargo, reducing the need for constant reshuffling. Additionally, some of them will offer extra combat bonuses when moved into vehicles.
Workshop Offers Randomization – To make scavenging more exciting, workshop inventories will gain a degree of randomization instead of always being fixed.
Additional Tier for Equipment – We’re introducing a new tier of selected equipment, giving you more upgrade options and deeper build variety!
🔹 Update #2 – New Game Modes [~September 30]
We’ll be adding three distinct game modes:
Balanced Mode – The current default experience
Trade Focus Mode – Greater emphasis on trading, with lighter combat challenges
Combat Focus Mode – More intense battles, while trading plays a smaller role
All modes will be available in both manual save and Iron Road (no manual saves) variants.
🔹 Update #3 – Events & Vehicles [~ Mid October]
New Random Events – The current pool of events will be expanded with fresh scenarios to increase variety.
Enemy Vehicles for Players – Enemy vehicles will become purchasable and customizable, offering more caravan diversity.
🔹 Update #4 – Expanded Quest Content [~Late October]
More Quest Types – Enclave missions will be expanded, adding more diversity to mid-game progression.
Endgame Mission Variety – Transporting colonists will be made more engaging.
🔹 Update #5 – Challenge Modes [~Oct/Nov]
We’ll be adding special challenge modes with unique mechanics and constraints, designed to extend replayability and provide new goals for veteran players.
🔹 Update #6 – Official Soundtrack
The Dust Raiders OST will be released. Many of you have praised the game’s music, and we can’t wait to share it in full.
The Road Ahead
We’ll continue shaping Dust Raiders together with your feedback.
