Hello, bumpslashers. First, we'd like to celebrate the successful release and all the players! It's been amazing. Marina and I have been so grateful that everyone has enjoyed Angeline Era's new and mysterious approach to action-adventure games, and that so many of you have taken the time to recommend the game to your friends. It really means the world to the both of us!
If you have the time, please leave a quick review on Angeline Era's store page!!! They really can help us out.
Other than that. The game is still on sale for about 1.5 more days! After that it'll be a while before you can pick it up at a discount.
Bundles
I've created a new set of bundles including Angeline Era for the holiday season. As you may know, Marina and I have been making games for a long time. So if you already own Angeline Era, you can now purchase Anodyne 1 or Anodyne 2 at a discount with new complete-the-set bundles. We hope you'll enjoy playing through some of our past work!
Trading Cards!!!
Yes, you can now collect trading cards from playing Angeline Era! Acquire enough, and you may be able to send a bugdog in chat to one of your friends. Or, a sack of compost.
Post-release Write-up
I took the time to do a little 1-week-after writeup on the game, reflecting on the game's mechanics, reception, and themes. Check it out here: https://melodicambient.substack.com/p/1-week-after-angeline-era
Future Localization
We still have a few new languages planned in the coming months. First up is Simplified Chinese, coming sometime in the next few weeks. In the new year, we have three more languages planned: LATAM Spanish, Russian, and German.
Console Plans???
I cannot confirm anything yet, but we are in the process of getting some wheels moving...
