Difficulty levels
Now you can choose one of four difficulties at the beginning of the game (create a new save slot).
The Pilgrim's Way => A gentle journey. Unlimited deaths and respawns — continue until you succeed.
Sacred Trial => Three lives per stage. On your third death, the stage restarts from the beginning.
Ghostrun => One life per stage. A single death restarts the stage from the beginning.
Maledictus => One life for the entire game. If you die, all saves are erased and you start from the very beginning.
Medals
Now you can get a medal for each level. Medals have 5 ranks. The shorter your time to complete the stage, the cooler the medal. The timings for each stage are different.
Achievements
4 new achievements associated with medals.
