About these aircraft
The T129 (rank VI) is a Turkish attack and reconnaissance helicopter developed by Turkish Aerospace based on the Italian Agusta A129 and in service with the Turkish Air Force since 2014. Unlike the Italian version, which is armed with Hellfires, the T129 is armed with domestically produced L-UMTAS and CIRIT guided missiles. It also features a 20 mm forward-firing cannon and can carry Stinger air-to-air missiles and FZ49 unguided rockets.
The F-104S (rank VII) was purchased by Turkey from Italy in the 1960s and 70s to bolster its air force during its gradual transition to the F-16. The F-104S is an extremely fast aircraft with access to a wide range of ordnance, from bombs of various calibers and incendiary tanks to Mighty Mouse and Zuni rockets and AIM-9P and AIM-7E air-to-air missiles.
