Drop an asteroid into an ocean and the water will know it. Impacts now generate real tsunamis: waves that propagate across the sea, wrap around continents and break on actual coastlines.
Impacts got another upgrade too: a new fireball that expands like a real blast wave, a new cloud blast, and an ejecta fountain that throws debris arcing back down onto the surface.
The solar system also got considerably more crowded: 26 new objects, including two minor planets that have rings of their own.
What's new
3D tsunamis after ocean impacts: waves propagate, refract around landmasses and run up on real coastlines
New impact effects: fireball, cloud blast and ejecta fountain. The fireball swells like a real blast wave and cools from incandescent to soot; debris rains back under gravity
26 new objects
8 new bodies: Quaoar and Chariklo, both with rings, Orcus, Gonggong, Bennu, Ryugu, Eros, and Kamo'oalewa, Earth's quasi-satellite
16 new moons for Jupiter and Saturn
2 new comets
Irregular shapes for asteroids and comets
Time control: up to 2048× (and −2048× in reverse) in Kepler mode; up to 1024× in gravity mode where your hardware can sustain it at full accuracy
Orbit helper: force-lock moons
