Update v1.08 — A Complete, Polished Experience
This is a milestone update for us.
Since launch, we've worked through your reports one by one — stability, localization, performance, progression, and the small details that add up. With v1.08, the last known progression-blocking issues have been resolved, and Crimson Manor now plays through from beginning to end as it was always meant to: a complete, polished co-op experience. We're proud of where the game is today, and grateful to everyone who helped us get here.
Version 1.08 — Latest
Fixed a bug in Act 4 where the lightbulb crank (dynamo) could become permanently stuck in an active state, blocking progress.
Fixed a bug in Act 4 where players were unable to pour water onto the fire to put it out, which could force a restart of the act.
Fixed the date cube puzzle in Act 2, which could fail to register a correct solution. It now also accepts both date formats (MM-DD and DD-MM), so a valid answer is always recognized regardless of how you enter it.
The road here (v1.01–v1.07)
Over the past weeks we've resolved doors that could push players out of the map, fixed progress and save persistence after rejoining, repaired Russian and end-game localization, added ultrawide support, smoothed mouse camera movement on high-end systems, added a "Continue" indicator so players always know their progress is saved, corrected puzzle reward and item-loading issues, and fixed a long list of individual puzzle bugs across all four acts — along with audio, UI, and performance improvements throughout.
What's Next
With the game stable end to end, we're now focusing on polish and quality-of-life:
A full pass on the game's audio to balance and level all sounds.
Continued ultrawide display improvements (camera field of view and UI).
Played at launch? It's a different game now.
If you bounced off Crimson Manor early because of bugs, we understand — and we'd love to earn a second look. The game today is stable, complete, and the experience we always wanted to deliver. If you give it another run and it lands better for you, we'd be truly grateful if you'd consider revisiting your review. For a small team like ours, it makes all the difference.
Thank you for your patience, and for being part of this journey.
