Hello all!
There have been a couple little updates we've been meaning to get around to and some things that we've looked into that we wanted to talk about before for the end of the holiday season as a lot of people have a little more time to invest in playing games during this time and/or may be starting our game to help with their new years resolutions.
Updates
The gameplay changes mainly involve updating some of the arcade minigames to be a little less difficult, especially at the start of the game. We also finally removed the "Feedback" button from the main menu because we're well out of Early Access and I try to keep my eye out for issues in the Steam forums anyways.
About Cloud Saving
As an update into one of the larger issues brought up in feedback/reviews, we've done a deep dive into what it would take to get cloud saving working for this game and it would be... a lot.
Not only would we have to completely change the way saving works for the game (and the file type being saved), but we realized that it would undoubtedly erase all players current save data. If there were a way of doing so without putting player's data at risk, we would definitely go through with it, but it just seems too unfeasible.
I'm very sorry.
It happened because of our naivety in game development and is something we will take with us in the future as a lesson.
Reviews
On a slightly lighter note, we are SO CLOSE to 10 reviews (which is a big deal for games on Steam) so if you've played it or are planning on playing it soon, please consider leaving a review, which will give our game a little better visibility on this platform (steam considers games with less than 10 reviews kind of lesser unfortunately).
We would really appreciate it and players coming in looking to see what the game is like based on your experience would benefit from an unbiased viewpoint.
To Conclude
I want to thank everyone who's bought and played our little game, leaving feedback good and bad, and helped us make the game as good as we could this past year! We hope you all have a great Holiday season! And don't forget to get some KFC! ;)
ありがとう ございます!
