The country of Luonan was built along the Luoshui River and flourished for over a hundred years. However, in the ten years since the Yun'an Incident, Luonan has become a battlefield rife with conspiracy and desire. Ghosts devour humans, and so do Daoists. People often say, "Wearing armor brings glory, but a Daoist robe is more esteemed." Ghosts and temples have made survival even more challenging for the people, but they firmly believe that one day they will see the light again.
