Helloooo everyone! We are proud to present the new 8th Heaven update!
This is our third and biggest update. We're proud of the work we've done and can't wait for you to play!
Devlog
Originally, we were only supposed to release the Chapter 1 around March/April. But many things have changed, both in the story and in the gameplay. But many things have changed, both in the story and in the gameplay. We made some decisions and everything became clearer when we found a solution to all our problems: the ticket system!
A lot of players said it was weird to have NSFW scenes with npc from the start without any introduction. So we created a new mechanic, a new character, we tried to link it all logically to the game's lore, and it unlocked a lot of things in the progression. So we have the first two complete chapters to offer you in this update instead of only one! Added to this are a few new details that you can read about in the patch note.
Concerning the future of the game, we're going to release a brand-new roadmap for late 2025 and early 2026! The next update will be released on Halloween and will probably be just as big as this one. We'll be releasing Chapter 3, which will be the conclusion of the game's first story arc. The entire introduction to the game will be reworked, and you'll have access to the interior of the Lighthouse, with a small bedroom to restore and upgrade...
But before all that, we'll be releasing a patch in a few weeks in order to add a couple of things we didn't have time to finish for version 0.40, due to health issues from our programmer. There will be a new NSFW scene, some polish, and more.
Anyway, here's the long-awaited patch note!
