This update is the largest content update to date, featuring five new playable characters, new dungeons, over 170 new Cards, more than 100 new skills, as well as additional events and gameplay features.
In addition, the Nintendo Switch™ version of FAIRY TAIL: DUNGEONS is now available starting today.
All content from this major update is also included in the Nintendo Switch™ version.

【Update Ver. 1.2.0 Overview】
■ 5 New Playable Characters
New playable characters have been added to further expand end-game content after clearing the main story.
・Gajeel / Juvia – Available after completing the ending
Gajeel: Block & Revenge Specialist
The more danger you are in, the more powerful the moves become!
Juvia: Support & Synergy Specialist
Fights steadily using strong defensive and support-type cards
・Mirajane / Laxus / Gildarts – Unlockable through newly added content
Mirajane: High-Risk, Ultra High-Damage Type
Can unleash tremendous damage through the effects of Satan Soul
Laxus: High-Damage Technical Type
Unlocks the full potential of his cards by fulfilling various conditions
Gildarts: High-Cost, Ultimate Power Type
Overwhelms enemies with powerful cards at the cost of high magic energy
■ Over 170 New Magic Cards
More than 170 new Magic Cards have been added, many inspired by magic from the original series.
With expanded card combinations, deck-building is more fun than ever.
If you’re lucky, you might even encounter Haru Glory from Hiro Mashima’s manga Rave Master during special dungeon events!
■ New Content & New Features
New post-game content, Special Labyrinth Exploration, has been added, along with high-difficulty challenges to further deepen end-game play.
Such as:
- A card upgrade system that allows enhancement when obtaining duplicate cards
- Expedition Records, which let you review your gameplay progress
- A Casual Mode with adjustable difficulty
*Casual Mode is unlocked after a few game overs and remains available until the ending.
Powerful enemies from the original series also appear as new bosses.
Strengthen your builds with newly added Magic Cards and take on these formidable foes!

・Special Labyrinth Exploration: Added to the Guild Menu after clearing the main story
・New Feature: “Expedition Records”：After clearing the main story, you can view information for each labyrinth and character.
*Information on Magic Chain combinations and equipped amulets will be displayed only for runs completed in version 1.2.0 or later.
・New Difficulty Levels: Added to “Labyrinth” and “Grand Clash,” unlockable under special conditions
・Card Upgrades: Choose to upgrade cards when acquiring duplicates
・Additional Improvements: New TIPS display, Casual Mode, and more
■ Expanded Content & Improved Quality of Life
・Playable Characters: Expanded from 5 to 10

・Other Improvements: Minor feature enhancements and bug fixes
■ Game Adjustments
・Buffed some existing Magic Cards.
・Skills that previously activated at the start of each WAVE now activate only once at the beginning of the battle. (enemy strength has been adjusted accordingly)
