⚔️ New Year, New Realm — The Wipe Has Come! 🏰🔥
Hail, brave survivors of Crestfallen…
Join us at Thy Round Table! (Discord Server)
By decree of the realm (and true to our posted schedule), the servers have been wiped — the slate is clean, the land is reborn, and every soul now begins with a fair, fresh start for the New Year. No hoarded riches. No hidden stockpiles. No ancient megabases looming over fresh spawns. Just raw wilderness, cold nights, and the kind of chaos that turns common peasants into warlords.
This is the best time to return: when every nail matters, every torch is precious, and every first wall you raise feels like you just claimed history.
➡️ Rally thy allies and return to the wilds — the new year favors the bold.
➡️ If you’ve been waiting for the perfect time to start… this is it.
🌲 A Fresh World Awaits — Claim Thy Ground
The realm has reset, and with it comes the great race: who will seize the best land first? The hills are empty. The shores are unclaimed. The forests whisper opportunity. Your old enemies are back to nothing—but so are you—and that’s what makes it fair… and terrifying.
Expect the early days to be packed with:
High-stakes scouting (because the first good base location wins wars later)
Scrappy skirmishes over resources
Alliances forming fast—and breaking even faster
True survival tension where hunger, cold, and steel all compete to kill you first
If you’ve ever loved that “Day 1” survival energy—where everyone is desperate and everything is possible—this wipe is your moment.
➡️ Log in and stake your claim before another lord plants their banner.
➡️ Bring friends — the lone wolf becomes the hunted wolf quickly.
🛠️ The Core Build Marches Forward (Fresh Demo Build Today)
Behind the castle walls, we’ve been hammering away at the foundation: a new core build that strengthens the game where it matters most—moment-to-moment survival, progression, and long-term world building.
The biggest update you’ll feel immediately:
⚒️ Crafting recipes are nearing completion, and that means we’re finally bringing the crafting experience into a more complete, satisfying state with clearer progression and better options.
✅ We should also have a fresh demo build live today reflecting this work.
What this means for you:
Crafting is moving toward being more complete and dependable
The world becomes more rewarding to build in
You’ll have more reasons to explore, gather, and specialize
Groups can start to form real roles: gatherers, builders, hunters, raiders, traders
This is one of those “core pillars” moments. It’s not a flashy one-time gimmick—it’s the kind of update that makes the game deeper every session you play.
➡️ Jump into the demo today and tell us how crafting feels.
➡️ Your feedback right now directly shapes what becomes permanent law in the realm.
🪢 Rope & ⚖️ Guillotine — Working Well (And Yes… It’s Glorious)
We’ve seen the stories. We’ve heard the screams. We’ve watched the betrayals unfold.
Two features are already creating incredible emergent gameplay:
🪢 Player Rope
This isn’t just a “tool.” It’s a social weapon. It creates:
Captures that turn into negotiations
Prisoner moments that become legends
Roleplay justice (or cruelty) that makes servers feel alive
True “don’t trust everyone” survival paranoia
⚖️ Guillotine
The guillotine isn’t decoration—it’s consequence. It creates a real sense of medieval law in a world where players decide what justice means. It’s been working really well, and it’s already fueling:
Trials
Public punishment
Territory control intimidation
The kind of dark medieval theater we want Crestfallen known for
➡️ Bring a friend… or bring an enemy. Either way, bring witnesses.
➡️ If you love survival games with stories, this is where those stories begin.
✨ More Features to Explore — The Realm Grows Wilder
With the wipe complete and the demo build refresh landing, the realm is in that sweet spot: familiar enough to feel grounded, but new enough that you’ll keep discovering interactions, tools, and tactics as you play.
This wipe is especially good for:
Explorers who want to map the land before others do
Builders who want to create strongholds early
Raiders who love chaotic early warfare
Roleplayers who want to establish towns, guilds, laws, and punishments
Crafting-minded players who want to master the progression first
If you haven’t played in a bit: return now.
If you’re new: welcome… and good luck. The wilderness does not forgive.
➡️ Play today and explore what’s new—your first hour back will be pure survival adrenaline.
👑 Survival Is Better With Allies — Bring Thy Warband
A lone survivor can do many things… but a warband can rewrite the map.
Crestfallen is built for:
Deep crafting systems (progression, planning, resource runs, specialization)
Full multiplayer functionality (true group play, not “solo with chat”)
Medieval survival chaos where alliances and rivalries evolve naturally
If you’ve got even one friend who loves survival games, bring them.
Two players become a team. A team becomes a faction. A faction becomes a threat.
➡️ Invite your friends and start your settlement now—Day 1 empires are the strongest empires.
➡️ Survival games are simply better when you have someone watching your back.
❄️ Winter Sale Still Active — 25% Off (Winter Sale 2025) 🏷️
Hear ye, bargain-hunters and treasure seekers…
The Winter Sale 2025 discount is still active — 25% OFF is live right now. If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to jump in, this wipe + the sale is the best combo you’ll get.
➡️ Grab it at 25% off while the Winter Sale lasts.
➡️ If you already own it—send this post to a friend and recruit them into your faction.
