Dear Scaper,
during the last weeks we honestly have been sweating a lot - not only because of the weather but also because of this big update., Sooo... *drumroll* here it is! We are happy to present you a bunch of new TerraScape features that will hopefully blow your mind. Let's see what's the most important new stuff:
You may have already found some fellow friends to compete against each other in TerraScape(?) Now you can also play together in our new gorgeous Coop Multiplayer mode! Work together to get points but be careful: not only points are shared, don't steal your teammates' decks.
Let us go like a bull at a gate at first: You now can decorate your keep with your custom banner! Earn XP during all of your play sessions and unlock rewards like banner decorations, custom titles (yes, you can choose to be the 'Captain' now). Other unlockables can change the way your map looks like - but pssst, not too much spoiler here.
Ever wanted to brag with your overwhelmingly great TerraScape skills? (Yes, we too.) We reworked the score system in free terras - now: Kingdom Mode - to be more scalable. Those Medals were removed and instead you can play through multiple Milestones and create new Highscores that can be compared in Steam Leaderboards.
'Oh look, that guy just walked into someone's other house - what is he doing in there?!'. Many of you Scapers have wished for people wandering around in the game and now we layed the foundation for the so called 'Wuselfaktor' (scurryfactor). Lean back and watch others work!
Of course we did not forget to give you more content to play with: there are 3 new Scenarios with unique Terra Goals and new Puzzles! All Terras were slightly rebalanced and adjusted. We... erm... well, don't know how to say this... had to remove all your highscores and progress on puzzles. Yes we are really sorry for this, but there was no way around it. Most of the older puzzles were reworked and as we added a new feature to all of TerraScape's game modes we hope that you will have fun replaying the old and discover the new ones and once again: forgive us!
There is a 'new' deck or maybe two 'new' decks or however you call it: We split the Farming deck into two decks and filled them up with new buildings. So now there is one deck focusing on food and the other one is to stay hydrated. And as promised: The orchard is back again in another deck! Besides new buildings we - of course - added two new Merged Buildings.
