Thirty Years. An Ever-Deepening Sky.
In 1995, the very first ACE COMBAT took flight, laying the foundation for the series with the exhilarating thrill of soaring free and dominating the skies.
Thirty years on, the series soars to new heights with its latest installment, ACE COMBAT 8, as aerial combat, storytelling, and music continue to evolve in harmony. Grand yet nuanced, the score lends every story a vivid emotional resonance.
For this occasion, series main composer, Keiki Kobayashi mainly arranged the symphonic score. The iconic melodies that once accompanied radio transmissions, dogfights, and the decisive moments of battle will resound once more through a live orchestral performance—guiding us back to those skies we know so well.
An Aerial Epic, Brought to Life on Stage
From the tension of the launch to the rush of high-speed pursuit, from the boundless heavens to the climax of battle—brass, strings, and percussion intertwine to build wave upon wave of momentum, bringing the signature speed, tension, and drama of ACE COMBAT to the symphonic stage.
As familiar melodies rise once again, the memories of every aerial battle unfold anew alongside the music. This is more than a retrospective of the series' beloved score—it is a singular flight experience, thirty years in the making, that belongs to ACE COMBAT alone.
Dedicated to Every Ace
No matter which squadron you once flew with, which callsign you answered to, or in which sky you took to the air for your very first sortie; no matter whether the music you hold dearest is the sweeping anthem of a final showdown or the lingering melody that plays as the story draws to its close—this night will become a memory you will never forget.
December 5, 2026, at the AIA Grand Theatre, North Bund, Shanghai. Let us mark this thirtieth-anniversary milestone by charting our course through music, and return once more to those boundless, endless skies.
