Hello folks!
While F1® Manager 23 gets ready to line up on the grid, we recently sat down with Lloyd and Will from the development team to go into more depth about the changes coming to this year’s release. In case you missed it, you can get up to speed with our chat and see gameplay from the brand-new Race Replay mode here:
Race Replay is a brand-new mode that allows you to jump straight into the action outside of your career. It allows you to play alongside real races from the 2023 F1® season with Race Moments and Starting Grid. In Starting Grid, you’ll be faced with the real race/track conditions and starting positions of each car. See if you can outperform the real team principals and get a better result for your chosen team with your own strategies.
Race Moments focus on pivotal Team-based moments in races throughout the season. Like in Starting Grid, you’ll be presented with the exact conditions from a moment in each, real 2023 race, but what happens next is up to you. Each moment will have a unique objective beyond simply outperforming the real outcome. Will you make the right choices when dropped directly into the hot seat?
Brand new Race Replay scenarios will be added following each race as they happen in the 2023 season.
Throughout the show, we discussed many of the other new elements in the game. These range from the new Driver Confidence system to the new Sporting Director role and Steve getting excited for Helmet Cam. Watch back the conversation to catch a glimpse of all of these and more. Here are just some of the topics that are covered:
